A love letter to my immigrant gramma, Anna Heffner Clark, my home town Endicott, NY, and the frequent rumble of trains passing through.
"Where are they going in the darkness of the night?"
Rootsy pop that melodically hooks you in.
One of my earliest memories: Cocooning myself in the family room drapes singing every word of Meet The Beatles, spinning on repeat on the huge stereo console. Daily. The Beatles being an all male band and all, I figured they may actually want a female musician and singer. It was possible, right? I believe almost anything is possible. I had dreams but I had a family, kids to nurture and raise. Then there were grandkids to babysit. I was terrified to perform music but one day the desire overtook the fear. I've lived a lot of life, have got a lot to say and so many melodies to sing. Do what you love. Just do it.
With Rob Lincoln, and occasionally other musicians in the Philly area, we play as Railroad Wings when the music is more collaborative.
